In order to help keep the development cycle as organized as possible, an issues tracker has been made available at https://bugs.coderollers.com/
This tool is complementary to the already existing wiki and hopefully, it will help those interested or experiencing problems with the applications or services provided by Coderollers troubleshoot and get in touch easier with the team.
Missing the old days of IRC when you had your trusted eggdrop to follow your commands? Well, you you’ve moved to XMPP now, there’s a way to bring back those old feelings.
Xoidberg is a bot for the XMPP protocol which aims to be similar in functionality with an IRC eggdrop. It will sit in chat rooms and listen for triggers. The best part about it is that it is easily extendable through the use of plugins, and even better, you can code those plugins yourself using a neat SDK.
Although in a very early stage, it is functional and can be used for basic functions.
We’re proud to announce that a web client is now available for our XMPP Server.
How is this helpful? Well, suppose you need to log in and chat with someone, but all the ports for IM protocols (including Google Talk & XMPP) are blocked. What would you do?
Well, now you have a very handy solution! Use our XMPP Server, but via the web interface! It is modern, does not require Flash and features almost all the features of a desktop IM client, including cross-server talking.
Also, your chats and login will be safe, as the entire application and experience is delivered over 256bit SSL to prevent you from eavesdropping or hackers.
Check it out now! You may create a new account using our web form or from the web application itself. Just select “Register” at the greeting screen.
Please note that Internet Explorer 8 or lower are not supported!
We hope you get the best out of our services. For any problems, as usual, please leave a comment or post a bug entry on our issues tracker.
A new XMPP chat server has been set up by Coderollers. It is generally available for public use and we encourage you to make full use of its features.
